The Italian Cuisine & Wine Event of the Year

Gruppo Ristoratori Italiani (GRI) hosted the annual Vino e Cucina Event to support the fundraising efforts that provide scholarships to culinary and hospitality students from across the United States. This year's event attracted about 500 guests to the beautiful ballroom of Gotham Hall, who tasted some of the finest Italian Cuisine and Wine. We were thrilled this year to have as our partner/sponsor the from the region of Sardinia, the Sassari Chamber of Commerce who will provided delectable products including wines, cheese, pasta, olive oils and traditional Sardinian specialties such as breads and confectionary.

Each year Gruppo Ristoratori Italiani partners with the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation to offer the Giacomo Bologna Scholarship to students in culinary and hospitality programs across the United States. The students experience an intensive educational food and wine trip through a region of Italy.
